collaboration: trying to improve my skills using MANGA STUDIO

I see you passing by and I want to thank all the ones taking the time to check my blog:

This is just a quick update to show you my collab with queenz14 (click on the name to get to her dA Gallery)

she is the author of One Way a very interesting Manga.

A lot of young artists are involved in the creation:

there are script writers and manga artists of all skill levels and age (I think I am the oldest >_<)

here is the group creted to organize the works: dream-catchers-zform

I find this is a very nice initiative!

I am supposed to do the next page too....^^'

I have made the drawing traditionally (only lineart) and finished it digitally (that means background, colouring, lettering...) in MANGA STUDIO. This is the second time I used the program and I think I improved a lot: I LOVE IT!

My Own Comic...trying to improve.

Hi dear Friends,
I am here again.

I first want to thank the gentle Kim and Nicola for the nice comments on my previous post: thanks girls, your support means a lot to me!

Now the post of today is to share with you another one of my comics in progress.

You get to see the cover and the first two pages all in once, but the whole thing took me one month to complete.

You'll clearly see (I hope) my progress.

I have begun since a few days using a new program for making Comics (Manga Studio) and I am super-duper happy about my investment in buying it it's a GREAT program.

Good Morning Dear friends!

Long time no see...

That's because I am very busy (understatement) with so many things (great understatement) that I barely have time to sleep ^_^'

I want to share with you my progress (I am being optimistic)

And my ambitious projects...

here below you'll see my new drawings and my first attempt to a comic...I know...I cannot even walk and I try to run, but i think pushing myslef to do bigger things will help me to improve.

I think the secret is being ready to experience a great failure and learn from it...that's how I am...

I have a completely new portfolio and I am very happy with it. Take a look if you want E.Ru -traditional art.

I know it's far from being good, but I like it to be my first attempt as un unprofessional ^_^

I am back, and i can really say that I did a lot of drawing during my vacation. The above illustration is my "ただいま。" illo (ただいま [tadaima] means "I am back" in Japanese :)
They are Lui an elf and Loiret a pixie, and as you can see they love each other. He can sing and play very good and she's a divine dancer...I hope you enjoy the scene ^_^
My vacation was fine, but I don't really feel like talking about it now...maybe later.

Summer and low cost flying rubbish!

Hi There, dear friends!

I have been visiting my mom over the weekend, the intention was to bring my daughter there on Saturday and come back on Sunday, but EASYJET has cancelled my flight twice!

the funniest part is they cancelled the flights 5 minutes before departure when they already had more than 1 hour delay...

I really HATE easyjet and how unprofessional they are! YOU PAY LESS BUT YOU HAVE LESS TOO!!!
the problem is that when you are a frequent flyer and you mostly fly over the weekend you cannot always afford to pay 500 € for a plane ticket, so we always end up booking with those low cost companies...

I am just happy that Laura didn't have to experience all those waiting hours and car hours to come and go from the airport!
another positive thing is that I have spent a few days more with my family and that now I have to wait a few days less to go on vacation ^_^

and finally I took the chance to draw some stuff....
this is a drawing I have made for my mom. Staedler coloured pencils on A4 canson manga paper.
1 hour for the concept design and final lineart and 6 hour to colour it....

Realism Practice

I would like to show you my last work, a portrait of 松山ケンイチ (Matsuyama Kenichi)

this is to try to get over my fear for realism...^_^

(here here the picture I have used as a reference)

The scan has ruined the colours...it's a pity (digitally enhanced pic. here)

This is made on W&N paper (A3) entirely coloured with super soft derwent watercolour pencils.

It took me 1 hour for the rough sketch and 6 hours to colour it (the background has killed my hand...)

I hope you like it and I look forward to reading your comments

Berry - Work In Progress

Good Morning dear friends!

I don't have any finished work by now but I thought to drop by...

I don't actually like to submit WIP's, since when I do it I always screw the drawings afterwards, but this is taking a bunch of time to finish (I have alredy worked 4 hours on it!) and I want to submit something so here you go...

then maybe you can tell me what you think.
what I have used by now:

watercolours (W&N), mechanical pencil 0.7, derwent super soft watercolour pencils outliner derwent inktence black and a copic marker blender (I like to use instead of water on watercolour pencils...than you don't have the splash effect, it's very smooth )

here is a new set of boxes I have been working at.

they are small nestable boxes (the longest sizes are respectively: 16cm, 12cm, 8cm)

They are made with watercolours which have been fixed and treated, so that the boxes can be cleaned with a soft towel.

Dear Friends,

here I am for my monthly (yeah...don't mention it...) update.
Even if I am "missing" I am still working in the background...

I am experimenting new styles and techniques, in order to find my own personal style...

While doodling here and there I have tried Copic Markers and I have fallen in love ^_^

here below an example of what i have been able to do by now...

it's a fan art of Lavi the bookman from the anime D-Gray Man (you can check the story here and the character list here ...here is a special on Lavi)

being my first trial with COPIC I am quite proud of it, but please, let me know what you think...

Moreover, I am following IAIDO training...(I can't remember if I have told you about it already...), so now you can meet my sword....

The name I have chosen for it is 慈心 (じしん) の　風 (かぜ） (jishin no kaze) meaning "wind of benevolence"

I hope you like it...
I love this discipline and it seems my path in art is becoming ^more and more defined...

秋月景一郎（あきづきけいいちろう）

Good Morning Dear Friends,

I have been working on some new drawings, last weekend and I wanted to share them, also to make myself forgiven for my long absence and to reward the faithful followers always popping out even when I have been weeks away!

I REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!

The drawings are taken from my sketchbook and they are made with mechanical pencil 0.5 (HB) and a good eraser :) hehe

The first drawing is a study for expression of a new character of mine 山田英樹 (Yamada Hideki)
(the baaaaaad one!) Yakuza member and disturbed personality...I am not so keen in writing about bad characters, but I am learning about their use...

The drawing here below is a character of Winter Cicada (冬の蝉 - ふゆのせみ) an historical romantic Yaoi drama.
I think this is really a masterpiece of animation but of course being Yaoi, it contains some "strong" scenes (for more info about Yaoi click here ). I think that in its genre this is really delicate and it can be appreciated even if you're not a Yaoi fan.
Moreover the soundtrack theme is great!

The guy in my drawing is 秋月景一郎 (Akizuki Keiichiro) one of the main characters.

I think my style is vertiginously evolving to manga...I like it though...I have always been a great fanatic for all is Japanese and especially manga and anime.

In the Valley where the butterflies can kiss the wind (III)

Meadow lake along Richardson Highway, Alaska - (I have taken this picture here)

Myria stood up reluctantly.

She watched at herself and she decided that her dress didn’t suit for an adventurous journey, that’s why she decided to wear an old leather suit of armour which had belonged to her father, it didn’t really suit perfectly, but she felt protected wearing it – the idea of facing a dragon scared her to death, even if Fyroden told her not to fear.

She took then a pouch with a water bottle and a piece of bread

“Better thinking about some kind of weapon…” she said afterwards irresolutely. Than she thought about the Dagger she used to cut the willow branches for her woven baskets, she tucked it in her belt and she left.

The sky at dawn was fabulous: the nightingales were calling each other from the bushes and the air was fresh and smelled of dew.

The Northern path passed through the meadow and Myria was hoping to see Papilion once more, but he was not there when she reached the Lake. The butterflies were still sleeping and the surface of the lake was flat. The meadow seemed to be charmed.

“I cannot hesitate now. Let’s go” said Myria aloud, almost to convince herself.

After a few hours walking, she reached the Valley of Dismay. The Mountain was there in front of her black and cloudy like a wicked giant.

Myria was tired and she decided to have some bread and to replenish her water bottle in the little watercourse nearby. She sat on a stone covered in moss and she took the bread from her pouch.

All of a sudden she heard a little tinkling noise, just at the side of her ear, she turned and she saw, sitting on a bush full of roses, a little elf.

She smiled and the elf smiled back to her and she disappeared, in the bush, just to fly back immediately after, together with a lot of other little creatures. They all carried a big leave full of berries.

Myria ate them all “Thanks my dear friends, I don’t know how I can do that, but I will reward you” she said

“The journey you’ve initiate will bring you to reward all Nature when you succeed” tinkled the little elf “take this elfish meal with you it will give you strength” she continued “the soul of nature follows you. Be careful.”

Myria nodded and after gathering the gift of the elf into her pouch she turned to say farewell, but the little elf and her friends were gone.

The air on the Mountain of Dismay was warm and malodorous but Myria could still smell the kiss of her beloved. She had almost reached the top when she heard a huge noise, like of rolling stones.

She swiftly jumped on the side of the path and began climbing the rock side, when she saw a pack of wolves running down the path. They were no real wolves, but wolves made of stone.

Myria didn’t know what to do. She was attached to the rock overhang but she could not last long without falling.

She closed her eyes and summoned the image of Papillion in her heart, as if by magic a cloud of butterflies appeared around her and it flew away holding her safely.

Myria looked down and she saw the wolves break into a thick dust and becoming a huge black spider immediately after.

“Aracnia!” she shouted “she is following me!”

The butterflies kept on flying while they were holding Myria tight, they went down on a little opening in the path, almost on the top of the mountain and when the girl could stand they disappeared in a nozzle of colours.

Myria started running without looking behind herself and she reached the top. From that point she could see the village of Ater. The mountain was not so sheer at the other side and Myria reached the village before dark. The sun was caressing the horizon and the dark village was still illuminated of the crimson tones of the twilight.

There was no living soul in the streets and Myria was asking herself if that village was veritably populated, when she saw not far from where she stood a little hovel, shaped like big shell, behind it a cave, the cave of Dryanda

‘That must be old Babasala’s house’ thought Myria and she walked towards it with renewed hope.

The girl knocked lightly at the little door and she heard a hoarse voice saying “Come in Daughter of the Sun, I was waiting for you”

Myria got startled but she forced herself to be courageous, she pushed the pearly door and she entered the big shell.

As you can see I haven't been able to finish the novel yet.

It will end up in a 300 pages book probably * O_o *

The reason is some drawing projects (below sneak peak on WIP)

and my exercises for the art lessons...then I would like to participate to ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY AGAIN...so many things I want to do...and NO TIME, NO TIME!

But I promise not to give up and I will try to give you every day a new "chapter"....I hope you'll bear with me!

Now I am off to the shop...

The sky was shining of the last vermillion reflections of the setting sun, Myria looked at the Lake and sent a prayer to the Gods of Nature:

She touched her lips with her fingertips: didn’t she decide already?

In the dark she walked towards home and the stars aligned above her head, to show her the way.
The fire in the hearth was still burning; she sat in front of the fireplace and she stared at the fire tongues.

All of a sudden the fire took the form of a little sparkling woman
“Health to your spirit, daughter of the sun, I am here to help you and to make you stronger”
Myria who was a brave girl replied with a gentle bow “Who are you, may I ask?”

“I am Fyroden, the Queen of Fire and Lightning, and I am here to help you break Aracnia’s spell. If you are strong and brave you will not need to change your terrestrial form or to give up your life…remember when the sky cries all evil is purified…”

“I don’t understand” Myria replied

“You will, Don’t be afraid. Now here is my gift to you!” the flame opened at the feet of Fyroden and a golden ring, with a glowing stone flew in the air right into the hands of Myria.

“This is the heart of Dryanda the dragon of Ater, known as the Darkest Village. To get there you have to follow the northern path over the Dismay Mountain during the hours of light. Once in the village you have to meet the old Babasala, an ancient snail-woman who lives near the cave of Dryanda, she will give you the sacred Stone Key that you need, to be able to enter the cave.

Once in the cave, you don’t have to doubt about yourself or about your love for the prince, or about the love of your prince for you…or you’ll perish”

“How do I know he loves me? I’ve just seen him once…”

“Didn’t he tell you, oh fragile girl, that he wants you to be his queen? Didn’t you live in love with flowers and Nature? There is no Chance in the Realm of Magic, only Chosen ones!”

Myria got tears in her eyes, what if she just died in the hopeless attempt to save him? She did not fear for her life, she was desperate thinking she was not going to see him anymore.

The one window in the room opened suddenly and a warm wind, a delicate breath, reached Mirya’s lips. It smelled of sweet flowers and ambrosia, a gentle sound, floated into the half-lighted room ‘I’ll always be with you my love, you don’t have to fear, since my life has no reason to be, without yours’ Myria immediately recognized Papilion’s voice and she smiled. The warmth of love filled her heart and she turned with renewed courage to the fire, where Fyroden was waiting to continue her speech.

“With courage in your heart and wisdom in your mind, you will get into the first chamber of the cave, from there three holes depart take the middle one and go straight on until you reach a silver portal, the portal protects the treasure of the ancient dragons.

In front of the portal you will find Dryanda and she will ask you why you have come to meet her. You will tell her that you need cure for the vanishing curse. She will ask you something in return; you will show her the ring: DON’T give it to her before you’ve got the counter spell, she is clever and she will try to take, without giving…”

“Once you’ve got the potion you will step back of three steps and you will pronounce this spell:

May the wings of the butterflies kiss the sun
May the lips of the sun kiss the clouds
May the clouds cry on the earth
My the earth give me back my beloved.

This spell with produce a bright light which will blind Dryanda for a few seconds, throw her the ring and run away, she will not reach you, since she never leaves the portal”

Myria nodded and Fyroden continued.

Come back to Lux, go to the meadow and look for the reflection of the sun in the lake. Open the flask you have recived from Dryanda and throw it in the reflection…”

“What than?” asked Myria when no further word came from Fyroden

“I cannot tell you more, daughter of the sun, the epilogue will come to you the way you have made it up. Be brave and pure. Farewell now…”

“No wait!” the fire flickered of thousand sparkles and the quite came back into the little house.

Myria looked at the fire for a moment and then she stepped to her bed “Tomorrow’s a hard day. It’s better for me to rest” she thought.
In her sleep she had a dream in which she threw the potion in the Butterflies Lake and the water begun to boil, but before she could see what was coming out of water she woke up at the cry of the rooster: it was time to leave.

And find your shoulder to light on.
To bring you luck, happiness and riches.
Today, tomorrow and beyond.

A long time ago, when the water of the river could still quench a pilgrim's thirst, there was a village named Lux. In that village lived a girl called Myria with eyes like pieces of sky and soft crimson lips.

Myria loved flowers, and she spent all her free time in the open place next to the lake. The Butterflies Lake, as it was called, was surrounded by acres and acres of meadow speckled with beautiful flowers and all kinds of beautiful butterflies flew gracious from flower to flower.

Myria could stay there and observe them for hours.

One day while she was sitting under a tree enjoying the noise of the leaves shaken by the wind she heard a voice:

"Only one kiss, from a butterfly, will save my life..."

she turned, and she saw a beautiful man dressed like a king standing on a little hill. Around him thousand butterflies were flying and it seemed they were dancing.

Myria approached him and she saw that he was made of a thin mist

"Who are you...and what happened to you?"

"I am Papilion the Prince of the butterfly fairies. Aracnia, an ancient and powerful witch, enemy to the butterflies' folk has put a spell on me...only a pure heart, who would like to sacrifice for me, could ever set me free from this spell.
Nobody by now has had the will to give up its own life...to give me back mine"

"You were talking about a kiss..."

"If I tell you more, you would be involved...are you sure you want to know?"

Myria nodded, even if her heart was full of fear.

The prince begun to sing, and his voice was soft and deep. the butterflies flew around him making his hair flatter. He was gorgeous.

Only a pure heart
a daughter of the sun
can set my soul free
can make this spell undone

Through the darkest wood
on the highest hills
She has to be good
and give up her will

No longer she'll be
a daughter of Eve
she'll join the butterflies
yet it's hard to believe

If you will surrender
and give your life to me
you'll change in a butterfly
but you can be my queen.

Once his song finished while the sun was setting behind the lake the prince changed into a warm breeze and he caressed the lips of Myria, who remained still and unable to say or do anything.

Hallo Dear Friends!

This is Doodle, my crappy OC.

it took me about 3 hours work.

Ok...I know that this is...how can I describe this...crappy? I wanted to make a drawing practicing graphite It is a mix between the man of my dream (long black hair and piercing) a monkey (under part of face) and Howl Jenkins Pendragon (earrings and blinky gaze)...
I have been practicing shadows with the pencil. I have been observing the behaviour of the pencil using it in different ways...I have finally used expensive pencils and I am happy about my crap...

Does it make sense?

I am back, and with some work done...finally! ^_^

On the 6th of March (starting from 1 PM) I will be doing demonstration of my decoration techniques on boxes in the shop where I buy all my crafting material (great shop by the way)

Dragana is the advisor genie of Cornwal the wizard of Light and Dark one of the OC of my new novel.

She is half genie half plant and she gets into her "veggie" status during the night and solar eclipses.
It took some time...
tools: cheap pencil ^^' (I am again off with my expensive pencil set! :(...)

I hope you like her...I am being very scared about spoiling it with the colour...(as I did with my previous WIP "Chastity"...long sad story...)

Again a big painting...again a WIP...it seems I cannot finish anything lately...just too many ideas and less focus This is Marina. She is a sea genie and, I don't know if it's understandable from the bad picture, she has all sort of sea life in her hair.

By the way...do you get that the left down corner is sea and rocks?

My husband said it doesn't look like sea and rocks... :(

....Well a whole bunch of things this time...I hope there's some "likes" among them!

Now I go back to work and keep on crying...oh, I almost forgot to tell you this: I HAVE LOST MY MP3 PLAYER 4 days ago...meaning a disaster to me...I am still recovering from the shock...I know it's childish, but I can't help...:((((((((

Good Morning Dear Friends,

First of all we have great news!

We lost our first tooth on Sunday morning!!!

Laura has had different emotions about that..happy...worried...unhappy, than happy again!

But we finally decided it was cool and we are going to "submit" the tooth to the tooth fairy tonight...

I have been working at some drawings in the last two weeks... and while surfing on my deviantArt account i have bumped into Gary's works. I am following his works since I have inscribed on dA...you guys should really have a look at his blog it's fabulous here you have the link The mushroom King

While joking we begun dicussing about my undeniable great skills in creating neologisms and...while doodling with words we created this funny character Paulus Hubertus Biceps (the name is already a program!!!!)...

He lives in Brussel and he is a famous painter and a champion in neologisms...in the picture you can see him surrounded from his 'neologetic" characters...ENJOY!

In the meantime I have begun this big painting...the subject is chastity...I hope i don't make a mess of it with the colouring...I am scared.....^_^'

Good morning dear Friends!
I promised a lot of things in the last days...and still didn't do them...I have had a few "busy" days with laura and myself being sick!

I have been the all weekend in bed with a terrible haedache (and the ones who suffer of headache attack know what I am talking about!) but it seems to be a new kind of flue during just a couple of days and I am better now.

I am finally back from my little vacation in Italy and I am almost unpacked =^_^=...(yes...I am a procrastinator!!!!)

I hope you all have had a great season vacation, that you had a white Christmas with a lot of family warmth and that the new year has begun for you in the best way!

I am really ok, very busy but super positive...

My novel is going good and I have made a few sketches I am happy about...I will try to show more in the next days...

SPECIAL THANKS goes to Kim and Roberta who made me a great surprise...When I came from Italy I was a little bit down since I had to live my family (every time is the same cry-cry thing...é_è) when I have arrived home I found two parcels waiting for me...I was so happy! How have you been?

I have been working at my novel in the last two weeks and i've been completely out of the air!)

I have also been playing around with clay (risky business with my oven which is not keeping the temperature anymore...) and here below what i have made...

I have been inspired from Odd Fae even if my works are not even comparable with hers...she is just great!!!!!

Hi there!

I hope you are doing great and that your day has started with a FULL-LOAD of energy even before the coffee!

(I am fine, but I HAVE had my COFFEE!!! O_o no way for me of being awake before it!)

I am in a hurry today, that's why I am going to give you a quick photographic update:

I have bought a new portable watercolour set (as you can see it is still untouched...we'll do our best not to let it stay untouched like the pencils...O_o) the colours supplied with the set are the cheaper 'Cotman' quality of Winsor & Newton, but I will spare to buy good quality while using them (I think that Cotman is good anyway!)

At the moment i have 4 watercolours sets of different brands and formats, but the one i cherish is my little Windsor & Newton (you see it in the picture below)...I have that since high school....can you imagine? I have had it for 20 YEARS NOW! Gee....

Yesterday evening as promised I have realised the drawing based on my sketch on watercolour paper...in the picture below a view of the WIP...

I'll try to finish it today...

Lately I am focusing on two things:
1-Watercolour
2- Felt...

here below a picture of a little Hello Kitty inspired softy that I have made for the school bag of Laura...

Evilla's cove Birthday: we celebrate with a Candy....

Good Morning Dear friends,

I hope you are all doing fine and that a lot of colours fill your days.

I begin to miss all that here in Belgium: COLOURS Since a few days...almost a few weeks actually...the sun is definitely missing and all the colours seem to be melting into a grey scale.

This is the worse period for me as an emigrant. I cannot state that where I was used to leave in Italy it was always sunny, but surely more often than here and there were colours that I get to see here only in spring and in a few lucky days random in the year (my English went wrong i think...but i trust you'll understand what i mean)...OK...I'll stop complaining and I get to Business....

I don't really have finished works to show...or better...i cannot show the finished works i have since they are destined to some friends who often pass by to visit "the cove" so i am going to show you a WIP I am drawing.

This is the drawing that I have made on my sketchbook for a new character 'Peacock' she will be one of the new circus Characters...

I hope you like it...

Doster the chief of the drapins* wanted the egg of the felix bird** more than anything else. the egg would have brought them the never-ending wish.
He sent out his warrior drapins and they tied up the innocent bird in a thick rope so that they could steal the egg...

They didn't know that the egg was loosing the magic when stolen...O_o

* Drapins are dragons having some rabbits (from the French word for rabbit = lapin) features like prominent teeth and long ears.

**the Felix bird is a bird who can rise from its own ash like the fenix and it lays the never-ending wish eggs. the one deserving it, will have all his wishes coming true...

Good afternoon Dear Friends,

After a weekend full of work I am here to give you a quick update...

I have finally finished my present for Kim, which will be posted on Wednesday (Kim, i did it! so now you really can keep an eye on your mail box! ^_^ i hope you'll like it!) that's why i will have to wait till Kim tells me she received the "thing" to show you...

I have painted a new BOX you can see here ...it's now for sale on my etsy shop.

I have finally begun to work at my present for the Xmas swap organized by Rosanna

And I am going to participate to an Art Trade organized by SASKIA

I want to say welcome To SASKIA (one of her sites is snippers & co. and she is member of several design teams for scrapbooking and card making, stamps and so on...)

Last but not least I have begun my own Sketch Book...

I hope I am going to be able to update it regularly.

I am planning to concentrate on my sewing and watercolouring activities and possibly to make a blog only for children illustrations.

Well this is a big project I am working on..and kind of DRAFT for the moment, but you'll know more as soon as i am ready with that...

Hi Dear Friends,

Today is holiday in Belgium so I didn't have to work.

I have than finished my entry for the illustration Friday...

it is the first time I use extra rough paper and I literally LOVE iT!

the reactions of the paper are sometimes difficult to foresee and I am still far from mastering the technique but it's a great feeling to paint on this paper and I am surely going to do it again!

the paradise bird of the previous post is for sale and I have almost finished my alice, here some shoots:

this is a (bad quality) picture of the sketch: the drawing is too big (A3) for my scanner that's why I can just provide this bad pictures...

and here the first colouring and some details...

this is my first drawing with background, I mean...a complete illustration. I am not really happy about the colouring, but I'll wait when it's finished to set up my feelings about it!

now I have to leave the PC to my hubby: he has bough a game called EURO TRUCK in which you have to drive a mega truck and go deliver goods all around Europe and he is still in the "addiction" phase...and he is claiming to get the mouse! ^_^

Paradise Bird Postcard

Hi Dear Friends,

I hope you are doing fine today.

I wanted to show you my last watercolour postcard, the "Paradise Bird". This will be available in my etsy shop later today.

I have a lot of to do's...

1) finish my surprise fo Kim @ Flowers & Art (Kim I am ashamed on how long I am letting you wait! I am so unable to begin something and stay focused till I am finished...but I am busy...^_^ hope you will be happy with it even if you had to wait so much!!!!)

2) send out the parcel of my Candy blog to Daniela! (yes é_è...she is still waiting!)

3) Begin working on my present for the Christmas swap organized by Rosanna

4) I have a couple of illustrations in progress one is a "Alice in Wonderland" on a big watercolour paper sheet...I am really taking my time with this one. I need to learn patience, to improve, so i am forcing myself to do a little bit of it each day...

5)I want to begin making some presents for my friends and family for Christmas...still looking for original ideas...(I will gledly accept and cherish every help on this!)

....this is just what comes to my mind now.

Anyway...have you seen that all my energy seems to be back? You cannot imagine how much I have missed it. And again I can just thank you all and my craft box for this!

Cirque de Vie: Colibrine

Every time I assist to the show, she is the one enchanting me more than anybody else. She can catch my attention...more, she can catch my soul!

Colibrine has the scene for the hummingbird performance. Larus, her faithful and beloved hummingbird, dances around her at the sound of a delicate Oriental melody.
Nobody knows where Colibrine comes from, her name has been chosen from Costel, the Old Italian Circus director, from the Italian word for hummingbird which is "Colibrì", nobody knows her real name.

Colibrine doesn't speak, but nobody knows if she can actually do it. She communicate with her eyes and with her peace-giving smile.

This is dedicated to Rosanna who has introduced me to hummingbirds: the greatest experience ever!

Cirque de Vie..."The Circus"

I have begun making this serie of illustrations for a story I want to write "THE CIRCUS"...not really sure about the story behind the drawing...this is how it looks like by now

the circus tent was up, shining in the sunny autumn afternoon.
"The sky is so clean today, what can I wish more than sun?" saying that she made a jump on her ball, and immediately after she landed back at the same place.

She was the balance of the circus company, she never exceeded and she never was in panic.

"Today is good" she said "I have to enjoy so that it will be easier for me to face the next bad day!" she smiled and she went on exercising on her big rainbow ball...

We have had a very sad weekend...Laura has high fever since 2 days and my husband's grandfather has passed away...he was a very nice old man, who has been very healthy and strong since his 90, now he was 92 and he has left this world passing from sleep to death.

We are going to tell him the last goodbye on Thursday November 5th.

so another BLOG CANDY will come shortly!

HALLOWEEN @PRUNELLA's cove (PART I)

Laura and I were home alone the whole weekend, due to the whole world outside the door going weird. Laura wanted to have her Halloween Party and Mom decided that it was no problem. She is too little to stay still in front of sorrow.

so to match funny and useful mom decided to make witches soup

ingredients:

for the soup

pumpkin 1/2 medium big one

onion 1

potato 1

walnuts 15 g

vegetables stock cube 1

800 ml water

for the spiders

minced beef 500g

1 egg

bread crumbs

milk

spaghetti or fettuccini

chop the onion and stove in olive oil, add the pumpkin grossly chopped, walnuts (just the inside! :), the potato grossly chopped, the vegetable stock cube and stir a couple of time than add water and let it boil until the potato is soft than mix it to a liquid soup (no pieces left). Taste and eventually adjust the taste with some salt pepper (I personally like to add some nutmeg)

a witch soup is not complete if you don't add...SPIDERS!

so here how I make spiders

I put the minced meat in a bowl together with the egg and some bread crumbs i mix with my hand till it's soft and not so sticky than I make some little balls, the size of a grape.

I break than spaghetti or fettuccini in 3 parts and use them for the legs as shown in the pictures.

the spiders need to cook long enough for the pasta to be al dente!

that was yummy but Laura (who hates vegetables and most of all any kind of SOUP!) didn't even want to taste of it...

she liked the cake better :) but this is for HALLOWEEN @PRUNELLA's cove part II!

now I go to bed tomorrow it's again a working day é_è

Good Morning Dear Friends,

The weekend has been very "productive":

I have finished a little Halloween present for Nikki @ Witch and Wizard Miniatures : She has been very nice to me during my illness, so I really wanted to send her a sign of my friendship...to thank her once again!

I have forgotten to take pictures of her present! é_è...I am not yet so me...The old myself took pictures of everything!

I have than began my "thank present" n. 2 for my GREAT friend Kim @ Flowers & Art I hope she'll like the surprise...still have some work on it (including taking pictures of the finished work ^-^)

I also have a new challenge...

My little one has to participate to the Halloween Party of one of her schoolmates. I was planning to give her some "treat" to take along...I was actually thinking about a finger puppet in Halloween style (pumpkin, ghost, witch, spider...) but I accept your ideas (I'd love to have some actually *_*)

Now, This year we bought some HALLOWEEN decorations...

I know that as a crafter I should be thinking about making my own, but I am aware that due to my down period in the previous months I don't have to push myself too far...so Laura and I just choose the option BUY.

Here you have some pictures of the things we bought...

I will hang the whole thing on Thursday evening...

On Friday evening I am going to perform together with the "Theatre Company Cartouche" in Halloween scenes in the Coolhem domain

We'll be playing some ghosts of Templar Knights and Ladies dead in violent circumstances...

Public will be the children of a School, we'll surely have fun! (more details after the play not to "spoil")

Some "bad" news I have too....My oven has passed away, so no clay baking for undetermined time...

Luckily I have hobbies enough!

--------so....... O_o..... 7 things of me nobody knows?

1. I am terrified of spiders and any kind of insect, even the ones doing nothing...I just get unreasonably hysterical when one of them approaches...The virtual spider i have put on my Blog (Archie) is not an exception...I am horrified of it, but I try to socialize...is kind of therapy *_*

2. I bite my nails in a very bad way since I was 1, well, actually since i have learned to move my hands consciously. there have been periods I have stopped, but it has never lasted long...

3. my biggest dream is going to Australia, but it is lightly in conflict with my fear for spiders...

4. I want to become a novelist...I have published a very small tale and I am now working at my masterpiece (something like The Great Gatsby for Scott Fitzgerald) I am now on chapter 4...

5. My husband had our first appointment in Paris in February 2003: he left from Belgium and I left from Italy, where I was still living at that time, and we met by the rail at the "Gare du Nord"... we moved to live together after 6 months from that day! (aww...so romantic! ^_^)

6. I have studied Japanese and Russian at the University. I don't remember anything of the second and very little of the first one...i have never used them again...

7. I love monsters (mummies, vampires, werewolves...) movies but cannot I stand serial killers movies ("the chainsaw massacre" is a great example of a movie I have seen a scene of, where nothing was happening and I have been freaking out for a week!): that's how it is -HORROR IS OK IF IT IS NOT TOO REAL!

well...these are really some hidden sides of me...reading back what I have written i feel like i am kind of freaky in a certain way ;-)

the Genie of Resignation

The Genie of Resignation lives somewhere, between the Blue Planet and the Moon. She bears the voices of the universal soul, our prayers and our curses.

She has always been and she has always looked at us with understanding, but she cannot act, she can just tolerate.

She is not perfect; her soul is much like the human soul.

That's why sometimes she suffers, of our pain, of our cruelty of our insanity.

I hear her voice, singing a sad lullaby, in the nights I cannot sleep.

Sometimes she seems so near, sometimes I hear her thoughts her sadness.

Sometimes her tears fall on the top of my tree and shine like diamonds in the dawn light.

I will take her hands in my hands and cuddle the Earth till the morning comes...

Dear Friends,

I want to thank all of you for your e-mails and kind comments, during my long silence.

The truth is that my life has taken a strange turn starting from after my surgery (from which I can say I am now fully recovered).

In the last month a serie of "things" has happened to me, hard and weird, unfortunately I don't really see any positive on them...or better...the positive is I am still feeling like coming up for the people I love.

I have begun painting again, this is what I FEEL I have to do now. I hope you like my genie (pencil and watercolour on smooth paper)

You are really fabulous people and your presence in my life warms up my heart.

This Genie is a present for you all.

now...about me, after the surgery I have had some little problems due to some kind of gas they used. So this is the first day I am being able to seat...

I have been doing really nothing for a whole week if you don't consider getting addicted to TWILIGHT an activity!!!!

I will not be able to participate to the market, since I am still weak and a little bit blue é_è...

So now you know almost all...I hope I will be in a better mood in the next day and I also hope I will be able to make some little thing to show you.

living in a box...

Good Morning dear readers and good morning to you, visiting my blog for the first time!

the works for the market have been slowing down this weekend...I have spent some time more playing with Laura and ... é_è ...

cleaning***.

The "playing thing" was fine!

Friday it was Davy and Eva's (=hubby+Me) anniversary, we are now 4 years married and 6 years together! <3<3<3<3<3<3>

I made a cake for the occasion (...don't kill me...) an easy-to-pour cake: I am not really the baking genius and I couldn't afford a failure...anyway...that was not too bad it seems, since I even didn't have the time to take pictures that the guys had eaten it out!

So I can surely state that I have had a wonderful weekend!

I still had time to work a little bit to a sewing project I had started since a while...and that sewing project has change into...GUESS WHAT?

A BOX...

here below you see the picture of my first TEA TIME BOX this is a wooden box of about 23 cm x 15cmx7cm divided in section in the inside and I have thought it could be perfect to order tea bags in it, especially if you like to keep different tea tastes....

I think it could make a great present too....

***On Friday I am going to the hospital for a surgery...(some routine), and if they will succeed doing the whole thing with a Laparoscopic surgery, I will be back home in the evening otherwise it will take a week maybe before I am back, so I have had to give up to the "big cleaning" stuff!

Dear friends,

as announced I have some (super messy) update for you...I am working like a crazy for the market and being absolutely unprofessional, I am trying to find a good system to let it work this time......

My idea of professionality talks "displays", "labels" and "nice packing":

This is a picture of the display I have made for my jewels out of an old unused canvas...

I have covered it with a nice piece of fabrics and put spikes all over ^_^

here a detail of how I am going to hand my earrings...(still under construction)

I am making all the labels for the jewels by hand...I cannot afford profesional printing and possibly i never will (é_è), but i like to make labels myself! ^_^

Yesterday I finally had my "harvest" moment...

I love to work with it and the scent goes all around the house (my hubby hates it and he gets crazy...poor thing!"

How was your weekend?

I have been very good and I have been able to work a lot so I have some new things to show you:

This is my new bookmark called THE POND (pictures will pop out bigger if you click on them)...

A phone pouch "JUNGLE"

BELIEVE ME when I tell you that it took me quite long to finish this, but I am very satisfied about the result. I love to make beads patterns using big and small beads together, experimenting colours and shapes!

These are now here waiting for a new house...

The market day is approaching and I still have a lot of work: I want to do good this time...I am preparing labels to hang on my little works and I want to make a display for my jewels...

I was thinking about pinning the earrings on a canvas...what do you think about it?

Any other ideas?

I don't have a lot of time left and I need to do something quick and cheap...(I know: I AM difficult!!!)

I have printed out little cards with my e-mail and etsy site, and I have begun putting together all the works I plan to bring...It goes mostly about my felt works, some little pouches filled with lavender and rosemary of my garden (by the way: should you be interested in a rosemary pouch let me know, I have a lot and they smell delicious...it's very good for cooking too!), some jewels.........but the main topic and the "WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT": MY BOXES

I am planning to make a few more boxes this week...here below is the last one I have made...

The felt work is glued on the top of a small box :) (+/- 10 cm on the long side)

I want to make some more oak things...Oak and Acorns is one of my favourites (probably you got that already) and this is a passion I share with my dear friend Kim@ http://flowerkim.blogspot.com/ that's why I accept any "oak ideas" to make new stuff...

I am going to make an oak giveaway at the end of September...so...stay tuned.

Good Morning dear Friends far and near!

The summer days seem to be never-ending and I am really enjoying the sun and the warmth trying to spare some for the winter...

I am working a lot and the sun gives me a lot of energy and good (I think!) inspiration!

and this post will be about....FELT, FELT, and once more FELT!

(I know, I know, that I am really looney and one day is "WOW, CLAY!" and the other is "SCRAPBOOKING YEAH!"...but that makes it much easier when one of the options is not available! :-p)

bookmarks and new ideas

I have been working dear friends!

but when you make a serious project, the work you have to do on it seems to be much more than when you just have fun...

Positive side is that the fun remains, just much more work!

The first things I am making for my etsy, as I told you, are made with felt: I think that's the best way to go towards the cold season...

Probably I am too soon, since the warmth is increasing!

ANYWAY...

Dear Friends,

here comes your "busy bee"...which is again doing a lot of things and fighting with a 24 hours day ^_^

as you can see from my side bar I have finally decided to open an Etsy shop:

Moreover, I WILL participate to another market, a "braderie" they will make next month (September 13th) in the city I live. I have decided to participate with my boxes and I hope the result will be better than the previous one...

I have some good news too!

Do you remember that a couple of my little friends had an accident during the art market? Mr. Mot lost his antennas and Edera Lost her tale...

Yesterday, going around in our garden Laura and I discovered a couple of bushes with...dry flowers and we had a great idea: what about giving our little friends a "natural touch"?

Vacation in B&W (part 1)

I hope your vacation have been good and to the ones among you who are still enjoying some time off I want to send again my best wishes for a great holiday!

I have enjoyed mines...I have been able to meet the adorable Rosanna (http://lastanzadigiuggiola.blogspot.com/) who has been so incredibly kind to show us Genua and the aquarium. Laura has enjoyed the aquarium a lot and so did I...I have had a great experience of being in a room where Hummingbirds were flying free around me:

....I am back since yesterday and I have immediately began working...that's why I am incredibly tired!

I have began crafting again anyway, since my vacation was completely unproductive, but I am working very slowly.

My actual project has to do with boxes and it has to do with felt...it's a surprise and I hope to be able to finish and show in the next days.

last post before the vacation:.....The Oak and the Acorn Genie -dedicated to my dear friend Kim

Wide was the night. The old Oak was sleeping - on the hill the Ostria was blowing gently and her leaves were singing for her a sweet lullaby

the stars will make you a crown

your dreams so light and frail
under the moon so pale

sleep sweet
a carpet of green at your feet
we will sing for you with grater reason
since in a while we will be gone with the season...

so they sang during the last summer days slowly changing their green into deep red, orange, cadmium yellow and brown, they were so cute and the old oak was pleased from their presence, even if she was feeling a silent pain, coming from the consciousness that her beloved leaves were going to leave her very shortly.

Every year it was the same pain, the same sad goodbyes and she was surviving to this pain in her eternally unchanging life.

Not far from the hill, lived a little genie, his name was Acorn and he was a very small genie. He was the hatter of the little people living in that forest and he was used to wear a bizarre hood he had made himself using leaves, birds' feathers and sand. the hood fitted to his head like a sort of lid and he was very funny. Everyone liked his creations and he enjoyed his work a lot.

One day the little genie decided to go on the big hill to look for some leaves and other material to create some new hats and once he reached the top he was flabbergasted: a carpet of beautiful chubby leaves surrounded the biggest and most beautiful tree he had ever seen.

"Hallo Your Highness, my name is Acorn, can I dare to take some of your leaves to make a hat for me?" asked the genie courtly. The oak replied "you can have them all, they have gone now and I am happy that you can still make something with them...I feel so lonely now that they have gone...".

The genie remained still for a while and then he smiled "if you want...I will keep you company, I will make my hats here and when the summer will be back I will hang them on your branches so that everyone can see them"

the oak continued excited "and I will make fruits, little hard fruits on which you will be able to display you hats and I will call them acorns, in your honour, you can make a house in my ark and I will protect you from the cold and from the wild animals"

the genie smiled, so did the oak and from that moment on all the creatures of the forest enjoyed the little acorns and their funny hats.

The genie lived very long and when he changed his form he became a floating spirit taking care of the old oak who never felt lonely anymore.

The Oak is still living on the high hills, if you pass there, at the end of the summer you'll hear her leaves singing and you'll see the genie dancing a dance of happiness among the branches.

Me almost off for 3 weeks and Awards

Good morning Dear Friends,

I have had a very hectic weekend and the incoming week will probably be very busy as well.

I have brought my daughter to my parents over the weekend...with the car...so today I am quite tired. My daughter is fine and she is having a lot of fun at the sea, but I miss her incredibly é_è

this is the first time I miss her for an entire week...it's kind of hard...(sorry for this blue touch today!!!!)

I will go back to Italy on Thursday 16/7 (leaving in the evening) and I will be back only on the 10th of August...but I will give you more details during the next days.

A story of Lubil

A story of Lubil

Lollipop Fields is nothing more than a huge meadow, when you look at it today with the eyes of a son of humans, but when you are small enough to walk among the grass stems, you will discover an amazing world: the Land of Lubil.

In the ancient days, when we still didn't fight against mother earth and the sons of human were still used to see little people appearing, from time to time, there was a little Lubil called Nestoran, who lived in a hole in the huge Mulberry tree.

Nestoran was a very noisy Lubil, and the inhabitant of Lollipop Fields were not happy about his noise and his mocking attitude, and even if their nature was very calm and gentle they nicely tried to avoid him.

He felt very lonely: he was not bad but he was unable to be quiet and he liked to be loud and cheerful...a little bit too cheerful for the taste of the Lubils.

Since he felt misunderstood he decided to go living at the edge of the Field and Harry the woodpecker the noisiest bird of Lubilland made him a little house in the Mulberry tree.

The solitaire Lubil passed his time looking at the butterflies playing his fiddle, the butterflies loved his music and they danced to entertain him.

You must know, that there is a special genie linked to all what is nature: his name is Fanat and his task is taking care of all living creatures, plants, animals and little people. He is not in charge for the sons of humans anymore...but this is another story...

Fanat was watching Nestoran since a very long time, since he was born under the Amanita Muscaria. He knew his talent for music and his cheerful attitude, and he had seen how sad he was becoming, day after day while the Lubils were putting him aside. Fanat knew what was good and accepted what was wrong.

In the second day of the rainy month Fanat took the form of a huge butterfly beautifully coloured with yellow and Orange and he went to see Nestoran.

Nestoran was playing with Bin and Cho two of his little friends

When he saw Fanat he thought he was the nicest butterfly he had ever seen and he began playing his fiddle to cheer up the beautiful creature. Fanat danced at the sound of the fiddle until the music stopped, then he took his natural form with amazement of the little Lubil.

"Dear Friend" he said "I am Fanat, the genie of Nature, I am here to give you an important charge...starting from today, you will be the butterfly pixie, your friends will come to you, they will be born and die here at your nest and you will get their colours in exchange of your care"

The hair of Nestoran took immediately the colours of the creature that Fanat had brought to life.

"With those colours" Fanat continued "you will paint nature at your own pleasure and with your fiddle you'll be able to call your little flying friends every time you need them.

Nestoran was so happy that he couldn't avoid shouting. Fanat looked amused at the little Lubil and before you could say 'fly!' he had disappeared.

The news of Nestoran who had become a butterfly pixie ran as fast as the wind through Lollipop Field and the Lubils were sorry about how they treated him and they decided to bring him a gift: the best craftsman of the Lubil Folk made a little golden butterfly for him as an ornament for his long hair.

Through all the centuries came this story to me, and I give it to you dear reader to make you remember of that far far away time when Nature could still smile.

Dear Friends,

I hope you like my new box 'A story of Lubil' which is now completed.

The drawing has been made with ink and then coloured with watercolours.

The box has a diameter of 22 cm (8.66").

This story is a short version of one of the tales of my collection dedicated to the Lubil Folk which is still and fully WORK IN PROGRESS!

The wind in the shell

There was once a cold wind whose name was Auster.

Auster was young and he still couldn't blow around on the planet.

This was the period when myths and magic were visible and present on the earth.
He had never seen the sea and he was enchanted from the stories he heard from his brothers: Bali, whose tales spoke of Java with her scents and eastern colours, Bora, the chilly sister narrating of the white northern countries, Briza, who had visited the wide continent...

"If I only could go to the sea...play with the water and make froth of it" and he was dreaming of tropical fishes and sea horses, of mermaid folk and dolphins...

Finally the time came when he could blow free...at the beginning he was almost scared to be so free, but it didn't last longer that a minute that he was blowing straight forward, to the warmest sea.

He played all the day and made the salty water jump high towards the sky falling into thousand drops becoming froth one the warm sand.
At the evening he calmed down and he seated on a rock to watch the sun go to sleep behind the horizon.

While he was there he heard a girly voice crying softly. It was a little girl, seated on the sand holding a shell.

"What makes you so sad, little girl?" asked Auster gently, "this shell is a present of my grandfather, and today he has left me to reach his ancestors over the clouds".

"And why do you cry? He will be surely good there..." - "My grandfather was used to tell me wonderful stories and now that he has gone, I will never hear them again...I miss him so much!"
The girl begun crying desperately to the point that Auster's heart was breaking.

He had to do something.

He inhaled the warmth of the sea and he began singing into the girl's shell.

"Put the shell by you hears" he said to the girl.

She smiled: in the shell she could hear the voice of the gentle wind singing and the noise of the waves crashing on the rocks.

"Thanks! I will never forget what you did for me! I also want to do something for you..."she embraced him and kissed his forehead. All of a sudden Auster felt a strange warmth going to his heart.

He jumped high into the sky and he discovered he had become a warm breeze.

It was time to say goodbye.

The girl was crying again, but for joy, she had found a friend. Auster was crying as well because he didn't want to leave her, but the girl didn't see it, she just saw the rain falling while the last sunbeams were colouring the sky of ochre and red.

This is the story of Auster the warm southerly wind on the Bulgarian coast considered a precursor of bad weather.

Dear Friends,

I have been working the past days, mostly writing and making drawings to ga along with my new novel...moreover the weather has been beautiful lately and I am taking advantage of it as much as I can: eating in the garden, playing with Laura in the garden and painting in the garden...simply fabulous!

Now back to the news!

I have finished the Koi Box

The spot you see in the picture is due to the fact that the fixation spray was not dry yet...I have sprayed and taken the picture this morning before leaving to go to work ^_^ I DON'T HAVE PATIENCE!!! hehe

Now...what is boiling in my cauldron...

This is the first one of a new seri of boxes inspired to some Characters of my new novels the Lubils (c)Russo E. 2009

The little pixie's name is Nestoran he is a butterfly pixie...

When the box will be finished I am going to post a story of Lubil for all of you to read it...a sort of free trial of my book ;-)

The boxes Whisperer

There was once a woman of the kind of human's non magical creatures, who loved colours. Colours loved her too and decided once to give her a present. They made a box and filled it with the rainbow and they sent the box to the woman on a summer breeze.

The woman was very curious and she opened the box right away.

She found the rainbow, each colour closed in a silk pouch. The woman took a brush and she began painting the box with the rainbow she received from the colours. When she finished her work the box was nicely decorated - "Bring these back to them" said the woman to the summer breeze "and tell them that the box whispered to me what I had to paint. Tell them that I am happy and that from now on I will let the boxes whisper to me and make other people happy with the colours of the rainbow".

The colours liked their box on which a robin was painted and to thank the woman for her present they painted the world brighter to give the boxes whisperer new coloured dreams.

Hi Dear Friends and Hi to you coming to Evilla's cove for the first time!

After a while crafting watching and hanging around, I seem to have found my way.

Maybe the story is not exactly like I told you at the beginning of this post, but I really have found my way as a "boxes whisperer".

When I buy the boxes they are plane and they seem to be sleeping, but when I put them in front of me on the table they begin telling me stories and suggesting to me what they want to become.

CALL IT INSPIRATION (since we all grown ups do not believe in magic!!! =^_^=)

I hope this is my way and I hope to be finally able to "grow in" something.

Decorating boxes will give me the chance to use all the materials I love and it can be so various that I will not have time for getting bored!

(*_* please, bear with me and my silly writings! ^_^)

Here below some old and new works in progress (....yes...I still didn't finish anything!!!!!)

The "Oak genie story box" is going forward...little spoiler: in the inside part of the lid I will write his story or a story with a oak as a main character

"the koi's" box (still have something with fishes anyway!)

the fishes still have to be finished and I have made this a little bit special: at the bottom of the lid there is a ZEN thought of HUANCHU DAOREN (it's in Dutch just because I was reading the Zen book in Dutch *_*)

here the translation:
As fishes dart through water, they are forgetful of the water; as birds fly on the breeze, they are not conscious that there is a breeze. Discern this, and you can transcend the burden of things and enjoy natural potential.

Today it was "fish and folklore" in a village not far from here (Mariekerke) and that implies a rummage sale: I LOVE IT!!!!

here some things I have bought:

a very old room box decorated with wooden miniature (apart from the mouse which is in ceramic I think)

this is not really "well made" the wall paper (fabric) is cut badly and badly glued to the wall

...but I like it and I am waiting for it to tell me its story..maybe there will be some "reorganization", we'll see...

MY BEETLE EGG!!!!

there was a woman selling eggs that she painted with acrylics (mostly miniatures)(mostly animals)...the great fun is her husband was cleaning kind of "sandblasting" and varnishing the eggs for her. That was really romantic! <3_<3>

there were very big ostrich eggs and very small ones like the one I have bought (I forgot to ask her on which egg it was made) she just doesn't use chicken eggs (that wouldn't be so élitaire...*_*)

have a look now...isn't it great?

The Star and her Thought

The Star was there since a long, long, time. Since a long, long time she was smiling, with her serene expression. Nevertheless she felt lonely: the sky was too immense and too dark, the other stars were too far, if there were any, and the silence was deafening.

The Star, whose name was Alestra (a name she had given to herself in the ancient times of her birth), let a Thought fly in that great universe but the Thought didn't want to leave her. He had been so long in the soul of the star that he felt what she felt and he loved her as a child loves the mother.

The Thought, whose name was Pace (a name he had given to himself in the ancient time of his creation) concentrated all his energy into his feeling of compassion and he became a light of hope.

"I will stay, you'll never be alone anymore and we will talk about serious nonsense and we will break this deafening silence will songs of love and peace. One day the entire universe will join us and there will be no loneliness and despair, no hate or sorrow"

Alestra looked at Pace with thankfulness "let this be" she said.

Hoot Hoot!

Owls...I have always been afraid of them. When I was a child there were a lot in the little village where I was born and they were hanging around in the night (that's what you would expect from owls uh?!) making their "hoot hoot noise" and I was scared to death...

Now I love them, and I would pay to get back to the time of my youth and maybe leave the window open and have a look at them flying around....
